Integrations

A connection label should tell you exactly what Merentra can do.

Imports, calendars, spreadsheets, personal feeds and trusted opportunity feeds use the narrowest available read route, with protected review and clear authority labels.

Available routes

Use the least-permission route that works.

Export and import often solve the problem faster and more safely than waiting for a full vendor partnership.

Four levels of integration

Discovery is not integration. Read is not write.

Merentra uses a visible capability model so members and partners understand what is actually enabled.

01

Known source

Merentra understands the format or provider but has no account access.

02

User-authorised read

The member grants a narrow, revocable scope for the selected resource.

03

Formal partner route

Approved API access, data agreements and named operational ownership.

04

Consequential action

External submission or write-back only where expressly authorised and audited.

Connected-source safety

Private data stays in the private application domain.

The public website and Business OS do not receive the member’s feed URL, token, event title, exact date, location or connected-source content.

Encrypted secrets

Provider tokens, calendar feed URLs and trusted opportunity feed URLs are encrypted and revocable.

Safe outbound requests

HTTPS, host controls, redirect checks, public-address validation and bounded responses.

Incremental checks

Provider cursors, conditional requests and source hashes avoid unnecessary retrieval.

Protected review

Detected source changes do not directly publish to the timetable or silently commit an opportunity decision.

What Merentra does not do

No employer-password collection. No authenticated browser scraping.

Where no authorised read route exists, Merentra uses a user-provided export or waits for a formal partnership. It does not turn a browser automation tool into a hidden credentialled connector.

Organisation founding pilot

Organisation integration starts with a bounded service contract.

Approved organisations can manage seats, programmes, cohorts, placements, consent requests and member-accepted credentials. The professional’s private Work, Record, Practice, Training, Opportunities and feedback remain member-owned.

Controlled availability

Access follows purpose—not organisational seniority

Every sensitive request states the scope, reason and expiry before a member decides.

  • InvitationAdds an organisation relationship, not portfolio visibility.
  • ConsentGrant, decline, revoke and expiry remain visible to the member.
  • CredentialPending until member acceptance; revocable with a reason.
  • BoundarySigned separate-service mirror and reconciliation before pilot promotion.
Merentra is live on the web

Connect the source without surrendering control.

Start with an authorised export, calendar, Sheet, personal feed or trusted opportunity feed. Verify the source and review every material difference before relying on it.
